Awarding the GotSoccer Ranking Champions of 2023
GotSoccer Rankings are thrilled to announce the first ranking awards – the GotSoccer RIA Awards, honoring one of the Rankings key creators, Ria Owen Thomas who shaped and calculated the first national rankings for youth soccer teams in America back in 1999.
The GotSoccer RIA Awards are given to the Ranking Champions of each year – determined by the teams who were highest ranked for that calendar year. Each age agroup from U10 – U19 will each have a winner, for both boys and girls.

U10
Boys U10 Champions

Springfield SYC Soccer – SYC 2014 Pre-MLS Next (VA)
Springfield’s South County Youth Soccer team - 2014 Pre-MLS have had a tremendous start to the 2023-24 season. Winning Septembers OBGC Capital Cup, The Bethesda Premier Cup in November and the Southampton Cup in December, they finish the year top of the Rankings and this year's GotSoccer RIA Champions for U10 Boys.
Girls U10 Champions

FC Dallas Youth – 2014 Pulpaneck (TXN)
Launched in 2008, FC Dallas Youth aimed to be one of the top MLS Academy’s in the country and their young 2014 Pulpaneck team has had a terrific year. Starting the 2023-34 season winning the Plano Labor Day event, they then won the Veteran Heroes Cup in November and the Upper 90 Challenge in December – putting them top of the rankings nationally and winning the GotSoccer RIA award for U10 Girls.

Boys U11 Champions

Coppermine SC – 2013 Blue (MA)
Coppermine 2013 Blue have had an amazing 2023, winning events such as the Jefferson Cup in March, Pennsylvania’s 37th Annual Kickoff Classic in the summer and the Columbia Fall Classic in November. Together for over 3 years, this amazing squad finished at the top of the national rankings in 2023 and get the GotSoccer RIA award for U11 Boys.
Girls U11 Champions

Sting SC – Pre-ECNL 2013 O Reyes (TXN)
The Pre-ECNL 2013 team from Sting Soccer Club in Texas had an amazing 2023, winning most competitions they played in including, Januarys Outlaw Cup, The Dallas International Cup in May and then becoming the State Cup champions for Texas North. They finished the year on top of the national Rankings and become our GotSoccer RIA Champions for U11 Girls.
U12
Boys U12 Champions

Springfield SYC Soccer – 2012 Pre-MLS Next (VA)
The Second award for Springfield SYC Soccer, this prestigious Club have brought youth sports to Virginia of over 60 years – and their 2012 Pre-MLS Next team are the best in the country right now. Playing up an age group for much of the year, the team won the Virginia State Cup in the spring along with their EDP League and are currently top of the league again this season - they are GotSoccer RIA Champions for U12 Boys.
Girls U12 Champions

The Football Academy NJ – 2012 Black (NJ)
An amazing year for The Football Academy of New Jersey’s 2012 Black team, winning most events they played in last year including - the DTS Winter Invitational, FC Europa Cup, Delco Players Cup, WAGS Rael Vodicka tournament and are currently top of the league this season. They finish the year on top of the rankings nationally and become the GotSoccer RIA Champions for U12 Girls.

Boys U13 Champions

Key Biscayne SC – KBSC 2011 Elite (FL)
Key Biscayne Soccer Club has been providing youth soccer programs for over 50 years, and that experience shows with their KBSC 2011 Elite team, top of the Rankings for 2023. They won at Disney’s Memorial Day Event in May, their Spring EDP League and last month’s Miami Classic amongst other victories – Making them the highest Ranked team in the country and our Boys U13 GotSoccer RIA Champions.
Girls U13 Champions

Phoenix Surf SC – 2011 Blue (AZ)
This season saw Phoenix Surf Soccer Club’s 2011 Blue Team go an amazing run of wins, becoming Champions at the Phoenix Rising Cup, The Cactus Kick-Off, Octobers Arsenal Challenge and the Ahwatukee Classic. This phenomenal run of form saw them end the year at the top of the Rankings nationally and they now become the 2023 GotSoccer RIA Champions for U13 Girls.
U14
Boys U13 Champions

Barca Academy Pro Miami – 2010 PRO (FL)
Owned and operated by Barcelona FC, Barca Academy Pro Miami have produced the best ranked U14 boys team in the country, their 2010 PRO team. In a very consistent season, the team won their EDP Florida League in the Spring, the National League Play-Offs in the Summer and are currently top of the league again. They are our top ranked team nationally for 2023 and the GotSoccer RIA Champions for U14 Boys.
Girls U13 Champions

Keystone FC – 2010 GA (PAE)
The Keystone Girls 2010 GA Team had an amazing year, winning their South Atlantic Conference League and going on to win the State Cup and becoming Eastern Regional Champions. They finished the year on top nationally and become the GotSoccer RIA Champions for U14 Girls in 2023.
U15
Boys U15 Champions

Miami Breakers FC – 2009 Black (FL)
Owned and operated by Barcelona FC, Barca Academy Pro Miami have produced the best ranked U14 boys team in the country, their 2010 PRO team. In a very consistent season, the team won their EDP Florida League in the Spring, the National League Play-Offs in the Summer and are currently top of the league again. They are our top ranked team nationally for 2023 and the GotSoccer RIA Champions for U14 Boys.
Girls U15 Champions

Reading Rage SC – 2009 Pugh (PAE)
Reading Rage Soccer Club in Eastern Pennsylvania have a history of producing excellent teams, and their 2009 Pugh team were fantastic in 2023. Winning the FC Europa Turf Cup in March, The Sate Cup in the summer and then becoming the Eastern Regional Champions in the summer. They finished the year winning at the VisitRayleigh College Showcase and at the top of the Rankings nationally – becoming our U15 Girls GotSoccer RIA Champions for 2023.
U16
Boys U16 Champions

Stoney Brook LGN SC – Wildlings 2008 Blue (NYE)
The Wildings Blue 2008 team from Stoney Brook Lake Grove Newfield had an exceptional 2023. Winning the State Cup and the Eastern Regional Championships, they were rarely beaten and won most events they played in. Finishing the year at the top of the Rankings, they become the U16 boys GotSoccer RIA Champions for 2023.
Girls U16 Champions

FC Europa – Sporting PA 2008 (PAE)
Formed in 2008, FC Europa have focused on a holistic player development and their Sporting PA U16 Team had a tremendous year. Winning the Penn Fusion Winter Showcase at the start of 2023, they went on to win their Mid Atlantic Conference Spring League and the State Cup. Semi-Finalists at the Regional Championships, their form saw them end 2023 at the top of the rankings nationally and become our GotSoccer RIA Champions for U16 Girls.
U17
Boys U17 Champions

Futbol Beach Soccer Futsal Club – FBS FC 2007 Teal (FL)
The 2007 Teal team from Futbol Beach Soccer, had a tremendous year winning many of the events they played. They won the Florida State Cup, The Disney Memorial Event in May and September’s Tampa Cup. The team were also Southern Regional Championship finalists in 2023. Dedicated to promoting and developing soccer in North Miami Dade and South Broward, Futbol Beach Soccer’s 2007 Teal team finish the year on top nationally and become the GotSoccer RIA Champions for U17 Boys.
Girls U17 Champions

Reading Rage SC – 2007 Press (PAE)
A second winner from the formative Reading Rage Soccer Club, their 2007 Press team had a strong year winning the Disney Showcase in January, becoming State Champions in the Spring and winning again at the EDP Cup Spring Showcase. A Semi-finalist placement in the Regionals saw them finish top of the rankings nationally at the end of the year - and our GotSoccer RIA Champions for U17 girls.
U18
Boys U18 Champions

Miami Breakers FC – 2006 Black (FL)
A second winner from Miami Breakers FC, their 2006 Black team did them proud in 2023 and top the GotSoccer Rankings. Southern Regional Champions and finalists at the Nationals, it was a year to remember for the 2006 Black squad and testament to the fantastic work being done at Miami Breakers FC. Finishing the year top of the national Rankings, they now become the GotSoccer RIA Champions for U18 boys.
Girls U18 Champions

Solar SC – South 2006 Adames (TXN)
It was a fantastic year for Solar Soccer Club’s South 2006 Adames squad, they won the Texas North State Cup and went on to win the Southern Regional Championships. Amongst other wins they were also finalists at the Nationals, completing an amazing year, and putting them at the top of the rankings in the country. They finished the year as the GotSoccer RIA Champions for U18 girls.

Boys U19 Champions

Indiana Fire Academy – 2005/06 NL PRO
Winning the Nike Blue Chip Showcase in April kicked off a fantastic year for the 2005/06 NL Pro team at Indiana Fire Academy, as they went on to win their Great Lakes Conference League and the Mid-West Regional championships. Indiana Fire Academy have a history of producing professional and national level players and their 2005/06 NL Pro team are continuing those high standards. They become the 2023 GotSoccer RIA Champions for U19 Boys.
Girls U19 Champions

Dakota Alliance Soccer Club - DASC 2005/06 BLACK
DASC Soccer Club’s 2005/06 Black team had an impeccable 2023, winning in Indiana at the Crossroads of America College Showcase, then going on to win the Midwest Regional Championships and the USYS National Championships in Florida. They ended an amazing year on top of the Rankings nationally and became our GotSoccer RIA Champions for U19.
