New Administrator User Permissions Update – Effective 12/20/24
Jacksonville Beach, FL – A significant new update has been added to the system that allows administrators to limit other users’ access to specific program registrations, events, and forms. This update provides more control over what different users can see and interact with, particularly for clubs that have recreational-only administrators or other roles with limited responsibilities.
Key Features of the Update:
- User-Specific Permissions: Administrators can now limit access to certain programs, events, or forms based on the user’s role. For example, if a user is an administrator for recreational leagues only, they can be restricted to only seeing and managing the recreational league’s registrations.
- How to Set Permissions:
- Navigate to the Users module.
- Select the administrator user by clicking on their name.
- Click on Edit to modify their settings.
- Scroll down to the Module Permissions section.
- You can now select which specific programs, events, or forms the user will have access to. You can choose one or multiple items.
- If no specific programs or forms are selected, the user will have access to all programs and events by default.
- Billing Tab Exception:
- Note that the billing tab is an exception to this feature. The billing tab’s visibility cannot be restricted by these new permissions. However, users with limited access will still be able to see whether players or teams are paid/due and can charge cards within individual player or team modals.

Important Considerations:
- By default, administrators will have full access to all programs, events, and forms unless edited.
- If a user should only have access to a specific program or event (e.g., only the recreational league), be mindful to avoid granting access to the billing tab if you want to limit their overall control over financial data.
This update enhances the flexibility of user permissions, making it easier to manage different levels of access for various roles within your organization. Be sure to review and adjust permissions for users as needed to ensure the right level of access for each role.
